Offline mode has been developed for those times when you find yourself without an internet connection. If you have downloaded countries in advance, you can still find the best motorhome location at such times. How does it work exactly?
Enable offline mode
- If you accidentally lose your connection, the app will send you a notification. It will tell you to click on the green Wi-Fi icon (circle with two arcs above it) on the map to use offline mode.
- Go to a screen where you can see the map and click on the green Wi-Fi icon at the bottom left of the map.
- You will now see a pop-up screen asking if you want to switch to offline mode. Select Continue.
- Now the Wi-Fi icon has turned grey and you can see the offline map. You can now search in the countries you have downloaded.
- Even if you are connected but do not want to use any data, you can click on the Wi-Fi icon and enable offline mode.
Enable online mode
- As soon as your device detects that a connection is available again, you will see a notification on the screen. It will tell you to click on the grey Wi-Fi icon (circle with two arcs above it) to use online mode.
- Go to a screen where you can see the map and click on the grey Wi-Fi icon at the bottom left of the map.
- You will now see a pop-up screen asking if you want to switch to online mode. Select Continue (if you do not want to do so, click Cancel and remain in offline mode).
- The Wi-Fi icon is now green and you can see the online map. You can now search the entire Campercontact database.
