How can we help?

I see that you offer locations where you are not officially allowed to stay? How does that work? (wild camping)

Through our app and website, we offer a wealth of motorhome location information for motorhome owners. Collected for and by a dedicated community. With the aim of making valuable motorhome (location) information accessible to every motorhome enthusiast.

In addition to official, recognised campsites and motorhome locations, we also offer (in smaller numbers) wild camping spots, also known as tolerated spots. Wild camping is not permitted everywhere (this varies per country and region), but is often tolerated, especially in less touristy areas. Campercontact users who know from their own experience that overnight stays are tolerated here often share these unique spots with other motorhome owners. Because more and more of our users are looking for these spots, we want to show this offer as well. You visit these locations at your own risk: you may be asked to leave.

Have you noticed such a tolerated spot on our platform and do you know that it is indeed enforced? Please let us and other motorhome owners know by submitting a change (use the orange plus sign next to a location). Would you like to share your experiences at a location with fellow motorhome owners? Feel free to share them in the reviews! You can also add these by clicking on the orange plus sign next to a location.

Whether it is a designated spot or not, the following rules apply at all times and in all locations: behave appropriately, do not leave any litter behind, and respect nature and your surroundings.
